Isar Aerospace is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality control activities for launch vehicle assembly, integration, and testing operations. In this role, you will monitor the entire production lifecycle of rocket (sub-)assemblies, plan and execute comprehensive quality control activities, and evaluate nonconformities to specify corrective and preventive actions. You will conduct regular site inspections to ensure technical standards are consistently met across all ongoing work. Your responsibilities include overseeing production and engineering processes to ensure proper use of tools, materials, and procedures while determining and tracking quality metrics. You will understand test requirements, propose solutions to resolve issues, and create quality and safety documentation. This is a hands-on quality leadership position working directly with production teams to maintain and enforce quality management policies, procedures, and instructions while implementing new quality approaches. The role requires strong technical knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards, attention to detail, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
