Litmus is building the data foundation for industrial AI, enabling manufacturers to access, structure, and use real-time data from machines, systems, and sensors at the edge. The platform sits at the intersection of edge computing, AI, and industrial operations, trusted by global manufacturers and partners including Google, Microsoft, Dell, Oracle, and Mitsubishi.
You will own test automation for Litmus Edge Manager (LEM), the product customers use to manage large fleets of edge devices. This is a 90% automation, 10% manual testing role based in the Pune team. You will build and grow the Playwright test suite in TypeScript, maintain it in CI/CD, and expand coverage as new features ship. LEM QA ownership is moving to Pune, so you'll help shape how this critical product is tested going forward.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Building and maintaining end-to-end UI and API tests for LEM using Playwright and TypeScript
• Growing automation coverage release by release, prioritizing high-risk flows
• Maintaining CI/CD test suite health, investigating failures, and fixing flaky tests rather than muting them
• Writing and maintaining LEM test cases in Xray, linking them to Jira for release coverage visibility
• Leveraging AI-assisted test generation tooling to draft test cases and Playwright specs, then reviewing and refining output
• Joining tickets early to ensure acceptance criteria are clear and automatable
• Running automated regression suites for LEM releases and reporting results, including LEM and Litmus Edge integration checks
You'll work closely with the LEM QA lead in Pune and the LEM development team. Litmus values ownership, speed, and impact—you'll have direct visibility into how your work affects customers in production.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must Have:
• Minimum 3 years of automation testing experience within 5+ years total software testing experience
• Strong TypeScript or JavaScript; hands-on experience with Playwright (Cypress or Selenium acceptable if willing to transition to Playwright)
• REST API testing experience and comfort working on Linux
• Hands-on experience with virtual machines: building, snapshotting, and restoring test environments independently
• Experience running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines and using test management tools such as Xray
Nice to Have:
• Experience with AI-assisted test generation or other AI tooling for QA
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Background in industrial IoT, edge, or device management products
• Performance testing experience (JMeter or similar)
