Xaira Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support high-priority Agentic AI Initiatives, including X-Cell and X-Design programs. This role sits at the intersection of ML/AI systems and biologics R&D, requiring someone with strong scientific and software expertise to manage complex, cross-functional research programs. Key responsibilities include: **Project Planning & Execution**: Support day-to-day planning and coordination of platform research programs with clear communication of deadlines and stakeholder needs. Build and maintain project timelines capturing critical milestones, dependencies, and deliverables. Partner with scientific leads to align on scope, priorities, and progress. **Milestone Management & Decision Support**: Collaborate with scientific teams to define key project milestones and translate them into actionable timelines. Compile project data, timelines, risks, and trade-offs to support informed decision-making. Coordinate and facilitate planning of decisive experiments, updating plans based on results. **Cross-Functional Coordination**: Facilitate collaboration across research functions to ensure effective communication and documentation of decisions. Schedule and run cross-functional meetings with clear agendas and follow-up on action items. Monitor interdependencies and proactively identify and resolve conflicts across workstreams. **Operational Support & Monitoring**: Track project status, risks, and mitigation strategies. Coordinate with functional leads to understand resource needs and timeline impacts. Contribute to scenario planning for critical path activities and identify operational improvements. **Resource Coordination**: Work with functional and team leads to understand resourcing needs, identify gaps, and assess timeline impacts. Develop scenario plans for critical path decisions to support contingency and investment planning. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ML model training and evaluation, agentic AI systems (tool use, orchestration, human-in-the-loop review), software development, and biologics R&D. This role emphasizes scientific and technical depth in an environment where playbooks are being defined and evolving rapidly.
