Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead space, defense, and national security technology projects from concept through completion. Reporting to the VP of Project & Mission Management, you will oversee all phases of project execution including scope, schedule, and budget management while developing customer relationships and coordinating with cross-functional technical teams. Key responsibilities include developing and overseeing project scope, schedule, and budget; providing regular reporting to project teams and executive leadership; proactively identifying and mitigating scope creep; leading cross-functional teams including technical and project staff with demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members; managing customer relationships; supporting comprehensive project proposals; and overseeing supplier relationships and contract requirements. You will work with government and commercial aerospace customers, with familiarity with launch vehicles and/or payload development. Experience with CubeSats, small satellites, or other space-based platforms is highly valued. The role requires 5–10 years of experience leading projects encompassing full project lifecycle management including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and stakeholder reporting. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, chemical engineering, physics, materials science, computer science/engineering, mathematics, or business. A master's degree is preferred. PMP credential is required within 6 months of hire. You must have experience with common project management frameworks, tools, and software, and demonstrated ability to lead high-performing cross-functional teams. The position is hybrid based in Webster, TX, with travel up to 30% within the continental United States, including possible overnight stays. Physical requirements include the ability to lift, move, or carry items up to 10 pounds.
