Salary: USD 100,000 - 150,000 / annual
Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee daily operations of ongoing spacecraft and payload development projects. You will manage multiple concurrent projects spanning structures, thermodynamics, sensors, electronics, software, and systems engineering, with opportunities to contribute to lunar and space technology initiatives.
Key responsibilities include creating and coordinating schedules, budgets, and resources across staggered deliverables; integrating project schedules to ensure milestones are met; collaborating with managers and technical leads to track schedule, cost, and technical performance; developing statements of work and evaluating vendor/subcontractor contracts; monitoring schedule progress and critical path analysis; leading technical proposal development; and managing work breakdown structures, program budgets, and risk posture.
You will work closely with engineering teams, maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information, and produce technical progress reports and presentations. The role requires balancing multiple concurrent programs while ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements.
Required qualifications: B.S. in Engineering or related technical field plus 5+ years leading or supporting technical projects in fast-paced environments with full project lifecycle experience. Demonstrated expertise in developing project budgets, schedules, and risk management; resource balancing across multiple projects; scope/schedule/budget tracking; and working effectively with engineering teams. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills; ability to lead without supervision; and capability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
Desired qualifications include experience with human-rated or mission-critical spaceflight systems; government customer support; space system integration and testing; agile frameworks; advanced MS Project skills; and collaboration tools like Confluence/Jira.
