Cognite is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex Industrial AI implementation projects for some of the world's largest asset-intensive organizations. You will own end-to-end project delivery from contract signing through deployment, adoption, and value realization, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and commercial performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading transformational AI implementation projects that drive operational improvements across Energy, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, Power & Renewables, and Life Sciences sectors
- Owning project financials including forecasting, revenue recognition, profitability, and cost management
- Collaborating with Solution Architects, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Product teams, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality solutions
- Translating customer objectives into measurable success metrics and facilitating Value Realisation Workshops
- Building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, leading steering committees, and providing clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Managing risks, dependencies, and scope changes with appropriate governance and transparency
- Supporting customer adoption through change management, enablement, and training
- Contributing to continuous improvement of delivery practices through PMO methodologies and lessons learned
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years delivering complex software, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise technology implementation projects
- Experience managing enterprise or industrial digital transformation programmes with multiple stakeholders and technical workstreams
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data architecture, and enterprise systems
- Strong commercial and financial acumen (forecasting, revenue recognition, margin management, project profitability)
- Experience in industrial sectors (Energy, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, Power & Renewables, Life Sciences)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project governance frameworks (Scrum, PMP, PRINCE2)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical teams, customers, and executives
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar)
