As a Value & Adoption Lead, you will drive the sustained adoption and value realization of Cognite solutions within the company's most complex strategic accounts. You will bridge technical deployment and business value delivery, working closely with customers and strategic account teams to ensure end-to-end integration of technologies—including agentic AI, Flows, and Adaptive Experiences—into the daily operations of field engineers, maintenance planners, and leadership teams.
Key responsibilities include:
• Driving value creation and tracking across four account dimensions: retention, user activation, integration into work processes, and business results measurement. Maintain a consolidated value dashboard serving as the reference for decision-makers.
• Structuring adoption and support programs: transform ad-hoc support actions into formalized, reproducible, scalable adoption programs. Design targeted learning paths via Cognite Academy, establish train-the-trainer initiatives, and guide transitions to enhanced support.
• Building and mobilizing internal champion networks: identify, activate, and train key opinion leaders and power users across each site to ensure long-term customer autonomy.
• Diagnosing and removing adoption blockers: conduct rigorous analysis when tool usage slows (training, UX, internal processes). Coordinate cross-functional teams—Delivery, field engineering, Academy, Customer Success—to rapidly resolve obstacles.
• Acting as strategic advisor: engage with customer leadership (COOs, asset directors, transformation leads) to align operational KPIs with technology capabilities and translate complex concepts into measurable economic impact.
• Industrializing best practices: contribute to Cognite's Value & Adoption methodology by creating reusable operational guides (playbooks), metrics, and diagnostic tools for the strategic portfolio.
Requirements:
• Solid mastery of industrial environments: proven experience in energy, heavy industry, or oil & gas. You understand field operations, speak the language of operational teams, and inspire immediate trust from shop floor to boardroom.
• Change management expertise: demonstrated track record leading large-scale digital transformation programs, technology deployments, or strategic consulting in industrial settings.
• Value-driven mindset and product appetite: demonstrated dynamism and curiosity to assimilate Cognite's AI solution suite (Flows, Atlas AI, agentic tools) and directly connect product performance to business outcomes.
• Relationship skills and teamwork: excellent interpersonal abilities, equally comfortable engaging maintenance technicians and senior executives during quarterly performance reviews.
• Rigor and organizational discipline: ability to structure demanding work rhythms, track quantitative metrics (monthly active users, usage depth, operational cost reduction), and manage complex cross-functional projects.
• AI enthusiasm: proactive daily use of AI-augmented tools for content generation, support personalization, and executive report synthesis.
