Salary: USD 80,000 - 95,000 / annual

EC Electric seeks a Senior Project Coordinator to partner with the Operations Support Director and regional leadership to train, manage, and coach the project coordinator team. This role bridges administrative excellence with people leadership, supporting Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Executives across construction and large-scale projects. Key responsibilities include: **Project & Documentation Management:** - Manage project start-ups and close-outs - Track and maintain bid logs, creating bid numbers and managing bid processes - Coordinate submittal processes, RFIs, change orders, and drawing management - Process electrical permits and plan reviews with supporting documentation - Maintain comprehensive logs for insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and correspondence - Create and manage O&M packages and coordinate record drawings **Billing & Compliance:** - Handle monthly lump-sum and T&M subcontract billings ($100k–$5M+) - Process pay applications, statements of value (SOV), lien waivers, and certified payroll - Ensure compliance with OCIP/CCIP requirements, bonds, certificates of insurance, and contractual obligations - Manage subcontract creation, compliance tracking, and change management **Leadership & Team Development:** - Train, supervise, and coach project coordinator team members - Lead meetings and training sessions; create agendas, facilitate, and present - Conduct regular employee check-ins and performance evaluations - Support employee development, recruiting, and retention initiatives - Act as backup for Director of Operations Support - Demonstrate leadership in communication, delegation, coaching, teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving **Administrative Support:** - Provide front-desk relief and administrative support as needed - Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and contracts - Coordinate activities across multiple business units and office locations - Assist with bid forms, proposals, and vendor proposals - Support material orders and pre-construction planning **Requirements:** - Proven experience supporting construction or large-scale projects, including bid tracking, submittals, RFIs, change orders, billing/pay applications, permits, and compliance documentation - Ability to manage high volumes of detailed documentation and coordinate multiple business units or locations while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and compliance - Hands-on experience with subcontract billing (lump sum, T&M, GMP, cost-plus), SOVs, lien waivers, certified payroll, OCIP/CCIP requirements, bonds, and certificates of insurance - Demonstrated ability to lead meetings and trainings, supervise and train staff, manage schedules, support employee development, conduct check-ins and performance evaluations, and serve as a leadership backup - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, construction management, or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with reports, presentations, and correspondence - Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
