This Senior Program Manager role leads the design and execution of voice data programs—the foundation of Deepgram's vertically integrated AI platform. You'll own end-to-end data workflows from raw audio ingestion through production-ready datasets, translating product goals and model requirements into concrete data strategies.
Key responsibilities include: designing and launching data workflows with quality safeguards; building labeling specs and style guides for global annotation teams; identifying tooling and automation opportunities; prototyping data infrastructure; collaborating with Research and Engineering on model alignment; tracking speech AI research to inform labeling approaches; managing data vendors and freelancers; and driving continuous improvement in speed, cost, and quality.
You'll report to the VP of Data Operations and work at the center of Deepgram's model development cycle, bridging Research, Engineering, and Product. This is a hands-on, systems-minded role for builders who can spot gaps, roll up their sleeves, and design scalable solutions. The company operates with an AI-first mindset and moves at the pace of AI—expect rapid change and the need to experiment, adapt, and learn constantly.
Ideal candidates have experience owning data, ML, or operations programs end-to-end; fluency working with technical teams on data quality and model impact; strong systems thinking; proven prioritization under constraint; and demonstrated ability to design and build scalable processes. Bonus experience includes exposure to speech/audio/ASR/TTS data, active learning, or startup environments.
