CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead program execution and customer relationships for satellite communication systems and aerospace platforms. In this role, you will own program performance across the full lifecycle—from concept development through integration, test, and delivery. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing bi-weekly reviews, major program reviews, and stakeholder communications.
Key responsibilities include establishing program baselines (integrated master plans, resource-loaded schedules), monitoring cost and schedule performance, and generating revised estimates and estimates to completion. You will use program and engineering metrics to drive data-informed decisions and provide inputs to leadership and finance teams for revenue recognition. The role requires close collaboration across all functional organizations—engineering, production, integration, and test—to ensure program objectives are met within cost, schedule, and technical performance constraints.
As a senior member of the programs team, you will also support the Director of Programs in developing standard processes and practices across the program portfolio, and contribute to hiring and mentoring program engineers as the organization builds out its program management office. This is a hands-on, dynamic role in a startup environment managing multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
