CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex, high-value programs for its Mission Systems ground segment projects. The role is responsible for strategic program execution, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Product Management, and Business Development.
Key responsibilities include developing integrated program strategies, execution plans, schedules, and performance objectives; evaluating program performance across cost, schedule, technical, quality, and contractual dimensions; overseeing product development, manufacturing, production, integration, and customer delivery; serving as the primary customer interface for complex programs; leading customer program reviews, executive briefings, and contractual discussions; building long-term customer relationships; communicating program performance and risks to executive leadership; leading integrated program teams; evaluating program risks and implementing mitigation strategies; coordinating proposal transition, contract execution, and production readiness; influencing cross-functional decision-making; overseeing initiatives to strengthen program management processes; developing integrated program management frameworks and governance processes; and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and customer expectations.
CesiumAstro designs and builds ground software, ground terminals, and mission operations solutions for satellite platforms. The company operates in a dynamic, cross-functional startup environment focused on communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 12 years of Program Management or Subcontract Management experience
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in a relevant engineering field (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.) from an accredited university
- Extensive knowledge of program management, customer relationship management, integrated product development, and operational execution
- Expertise in program lifecycle management, strategic planning, financial management, risk management, contract execution, and cross-functional leadership
- Proficiency in program management tools, ERP systems, business reporting applications, and program performance metrics
- Strategic thinking ability when balancing customer objectives, contractual commitments, business priorities, and program execution
- Strong organizational skills to lead multiple complex programs and strategic priorities
- Effective communication, influencing, and collaboration skills across multiple functions and with executive leadership and customers
- Attention to detail in managing contractual performance, financial objectives, integrated schedules, and program documentation
- Commercial insight to balance customer success, program performance, financial objectives, and long-term business growth
