CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead program execution and customer relationships for satellite communication systems and aerospace platforms. You will own program performance across the full lifecycle—from concept development through integration, test, and delivery—serving as the single point of contact for customer interactions including bi-weekly reviews and major program milestones.
Key responsibilities include establishing program baselines (integrated master plans, resource-loaded schedules), monitoring cost and schedule performance, and generating revised estimates and forecasts for customers, leadership, and finance teams. You will use program and engineering metrics to drive data-informed decisions and ensure adherence to technical performance requirements.
You will collaborate cross-functionally across all CesiumAstro organizations to manage risk and opportunity, guiding the team toward program objectives. As a senior member of the programs team, you will assist the Director of Programs in standardizing processes and practices across the program portfolio, and contribute to hiring and mentoring program engineers as the organization builds out its program management office.
This role is initially remote with a planned transition to in-person work once the Florida office is established. The position requires U.S. citizenship or equivalent status due to space technology export regulations.
