Graphcore, a leader in AI computing systems and member of the SoftBank Group, is opening a new AI Engineering Campus in Austin. This role leads end-to-end asset, inventory, and logistics operations supporting the company's global R&D infrastructure and data centers.
You will own the complete lifecycle of hardware assets—from procurement and receiving through inventory management, deployment, inter-site transfers, and secure retirement. This includes custom accelerators, AI systems, networking equipment, and spares across Graphcore's engineering labs and data centers worldwide.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and operating enterprise asset management, inventory control, and material tracking processes and tools across global engineering sites
- Leading inventory planning, asset tracking, reconciliation, cycle counts, and on-site spares programs to maintain integrity and support uninterrupted operations
- Overseeing inbound and outbound domestic and international logistics, including receiving, staging, shipping, and inter-site transfers
- Ensuring compliance with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) import requirements, HTS classifications, Incoterms, and applicable import/export regulations
- Serving as primary US point of contact for logistics providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, Expeditors)
- Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for asset management, inventory control, and logistics operations
- Monitoring asset utilization, inventory health, logistics performance, and audit readiness through dashboards and operational metrics
You will partner closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Facilities, IT, Trade Compliance, and external logistics partners to ensure seamless material flow and operational readiness. This is a high-impact role supporting a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company.
