Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply chain development and cost management for the Intelligence & Space business line. This is an end-to-end ownership role responsible for engineering support, vendor onboarding and development, sourcing, pricing, and negotiation of the total Bill of Material (BOM). Key responsibilities include: conducting deep dives into engineering BOMs in collaboration with engineering teams to ensure parts can be sourced at target costs; performing supplier selection and onboarding unique vendors to support Space & Intelligence needs; driving on-time delivery through innovative solutions that break traditional aerospace lead-time constraints; partnering with strategic suppliers on concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost modeling, and joint design development; developing and consolidating manufacturing BOMs with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams; managing total program costs including NPI and mass production; conducting value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility; completing BOM risk assessments with alternate component sourcing; ensuring component qualifications ahead of production; optimizing commonality and rationalizing components/suppliers; leading cost engineering activities to align bottom-up cost curves with product targets while maximizing total cost of ownership; managing ad-hoc cost issues including tariffs and cost inflation; and resolving supply issues to ensure on-time delivery at or below target cost. Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field; 8+ years in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement/development, or design of electronics/mechanical devices; domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO work at component and product levels; active U.S. Secret or TS clearance with ability to maintain; 10-40% travel; ability to relocate to Reston, VA if not local. Preferred: Master's degree; deeper experience in electronics/mechanical design, advanced sourcing, supplier development, early supplier engagement, high-mix low-volume environments, fast-paced startup settings, space industry, or commercial subcontract negotiation.
