Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems combining hardware and software, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to provide warfighters and allies with strategic advantage.
As Senior Product Sourcing Engineer, you will drive strategic supply network development and cost management of Anduril Imaging's electronics across their full lifecycles. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams while managing supplier relationships and ensuring scalability as product lines scale to full production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate component sourcing paths across multiple product lines
- Identifying and mitigating supply-chain lead-time and sourcing risks, particularly for PCBA components
- Ensuring electronics sourcing strategy scales as products move to full production
- Conducting supplier selection and managing/expanding the approved supplier list
- Working with suppliers on technical inquiries and consulting with design engineering as needed
- Collaborating with quality teams to ensure AS9100 compliance for production electronics builds
- Coordinating with manufacturing on technical data package release and transmission via PLM and ERP systems
- Partnering with Anduril HQ's PCBA commodity team to streamline procurement processes
Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field; 8+ years in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement/development, or electronics design; domain expertise in value/procurement engineering at component and product levels; ability to travel 10-25% for vendor visits; ability to obtain and maintain U.S. secret clearance.
Preferred: Master's degree; PCBA sourcing and subcomponent experience with familiarity of fabrication/assembly processes; knowledge of IPC and J-STD quality standards; experience in rapid low-rate high-tech product development; startup environment exposure.
