Modulr is a regulated payments automation platform that processes over 200 million transactions and £180 billion in annual payment value. Trusted by 6,000+ businesses from SMEs to enterprises, Modulr streamlines money movement (payroll, supplier payments, spend management, payment collection) through a single platform integrated with accounting and payroll systems. The company holds principal memberships with Visa and Mastercard and has direct access to central bank infrastructure. Backed by PayPal, FIS, General Atlantic, and others, Modulr operates across London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, and Mumbai with 400+ employees. This role is central to Modulr's expansion into the US market, leveraging a decade of UK and European payments expertise. As Senior Product Manager for US Payments, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for the US expansion, working directly with leadership to define vision and communicate it across the business. Key responsibilities include: - Solve complex business problems end-to-end: engage customers to understand problems, collaborate with engineers to ship solutions, and work with operations to ensure quality service delivery. - Set product strategy and own the roadmap to achieve the vision, working directly with the leadership team. - Drive product delivery forward by collaborating on API design and integration patterns, challenging assumptions, improving ways of working, and balancing feature development against technical debt and support requests. - Be the voice of the customer: serve as the primary contact for early customers, understand their needs, and champion them across the organization. - Sell the product by working with commercial teams to pitch to prospects and collaborating with marketing to package and position the proposition. - Manage partner relationships to ensure product alignment and foster strategic partnerships. The role is full-time, hybrid (4 days per week in office at Old Street, London), and offers the opportunity to shape a new market expansion for an established fintech platform. Requirements: The posting excerpt provided does not include the full requirements section (marked as omitted). Based on the available text, the role requires experience in payments or fintech, product strategy and roadmap development, cross-functional collaboration with engineering and commercial teams, customer engagement and relationship management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-leverage environment during market expansion.
