Kodex is a venture-backed platform that revolutionizes how organizations handle sensitive subpoenas and data requests from law enforcement and government agencies. Founded by a former FBI agent and backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Thiel Capital, Kodex serves over 15,000 government agencies in 190 countries and is trusted by industry leaders including Coinbase, Stripe, and AT&T.
You will own the platform infrastructure and foundations that enable secure data movement across Kodex products. This is a deeply technical, cross-functional platform PM role where success is measured by how easily internal product and engineering teams build on top of what you ship.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own KIP (Kodex Identity Provider) end-to-end, serving as the identity foundation powering sign-on across all Kodex products and replacing existing identity systems in the Core Portal.
- Drive the MCP (Model Context Protocol) roadmap, defining the next wave of use cases, integration points, and interactions with APIs and AI agent workflows.
- Design bi-directional API strategy in response to customer requests from companies like Meta and Apple, shaping design, prioritization, and internal team alignment.
- Shape platform infrastructure decisions including Nitro Enclave data models, long-term compliance readiness (FedRAMP), and how new capabilities integrate into the platform.
- Build internal-team adoption by setting the internal go-to-market for platform capabilities.
- Partner across engineering leadership (Integrations, Core Portal, Verify, Government teams) on prioritization, sequencing, and architectural tradeoffs.
- Represent the technical customer voice for direct API users and platform partners, translating specific needs into platform capabilities.
You will have some direct customer contact with Meta, Apple, and developer-API users, but most work focuses on internal alignment across engineering leadership and other product teams. You are the connective tissue turning strategy into decisions the broader organization can execute on.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of Product Management or Technical Program Management experience at Enterprise B2B SaaS, with senior-tier ownership at established platform companies.
- Platform, API, Identity, or Integrations background — must have owned developer-facing APIs, identity providers, SSO, RBAC, or equivalent under-the-covers platform work.
- Technical fluency sufficient to hold your own with engineering leadership on architectural tradeoffs, prioritization, and design decisions. Not required to be an ex-engineer, but cannot be hand-wavy on the technical layer.
- Sensitive-data domain experience in fintech, security, health tech, compliance, or another enterprise category where data seriousness is central to product building.
- Cross-functional operator mindset — majority of platform PM success is internal alignment; comfortable getting buy-in from multiple engineering managers, socializing designs, and turning cross-team dependencies into clear plans.
- Platform PM mindset — understand that success is measured through internal team adoption, not direct end-user KPIs; have worked in that model and thrived.
- Startup/scrappy fit — comfortable in an environment where processes are still being defined and product decisions require judgment under ambiguity.
Big pluses: software engineering background transitioned into PM, prior experience at enterprise-platform companies, MCP or agentic AI product experience, bi-directional API or webhook design at scale, compliance/regulatory context (FedRAMP, SOC 2, GDPR, or adjacent frameworks).
