StubHub, the world's leading live-event ticket marketplace, is seeking a Strategy & Analytics Manager to drive efficiency across the customer experience stack for both buyers and sellers. This hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days remote) is based in Los Angeles or New York and sits at the intersection of analytics, strategy, product, operations, and finance.
You will lead the customer experience efficiency strategy by establishing quantitative frameworks to measure efficiency and identify high-impact opportunities. You'll optimize growth and reduce inefficiency by identifying high-spend/low-return areas, sizing opportunities, and leading cross-functional programs to remove, reduce, or reallocate spend while tracking benefits to the P&L.
Key responsibilities include owning the multi-hundred million dollar customer experience cost data platform end-to-end—defining the model, building pipelines with Engineering and Analytics teams, and delivering accurate, near real-time views of cost, waste, and ROI. You will attribute every dollar spent on customer experience by tying spend to policies, products, workflows, and customer cohorts, then reconciling with Finance to create a single source of truth available in real time.
You'll turn policy into P&L by quantifying the financial impact of operational and product choices, embedding cost/benefit guardrails into planning, experimentation, and business cases. Additionally, you'll bridge Operations and Finance by establishing trust through crisp reconciliation, driver-based forecasting, and explainable variances—building confidence up to and including the CFO.
This role offers an accelerated growth environment with autonomy to lead experiments and tests at scale, a top-tier compensation package including stock incentives, unlimited flex time off, and comprehensive benefits (401k, health, vision, dental insurance).
**Requirements:**
- 4–8+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, business operations, consulting, or finance, ideally in a tech or marketplace environment; comfortable operating across business and Finance
- Excellent analytical and technical skills: strong SQL proficiency and solid understanding of database architecture; comfortable working at the level of an Analytics Engineering team
- Track record as a highly effective operator with demonstrated success owning cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution
- Exceptional communication skills: ability to simplify complexity, write tight narratives, and present confidently to senior leadership (up to CFO/COO level)
