Qogita is building an operating system to digitize and automate the wholesale supply chain, a $50 trillion market that still operates largely offline through calls, catalogues, and trade shows. The company has achieved 95% transaction automation and AI agents resolve over 90% of unique issues with zero human intervention. The business is doubling annually. You will own a single surface end-to-end: defining what gets built, why, and measuring whether the metric moved afterwards. There is no pre-written roadmap. Depending on your strengths, your surface will likely be one of: (1) the autonomous procurement layer—agents that watch price movements, forecast demand, raise purchase orders, and handle supplier communications, with the open question being accuracy and auditability before software commits company money; (2) price and supply intelligence—leveraging market-wide visibility into pricing, availability, and demand that no individual participant can see, deciding whether this remains an internal tool or becomes a paid offering; (3) catalogue and trust—matching, deduplication, authenticity, and supplier reliability scoring across hundreds of thousands of SKUs; or (4) buyer economics—financing, terms, replenishment, and retention levers that determine whether independent retailers survive. You will own strategy, specs, and outcomes for your area, and be accountable when metrics don't move. You work from economic and physical truth: units, margins, lead times, cash cycles, failure rates. You question whether processes should exist before automating them. You do your own analysis—the warehouse is open and you won't queue behind analysts. You bring the number, sample size, and reasons you might be wrong. You visit the actual operations: sit with ops, listen to supplier calls, read failed orders. You work directly with engineers, designers, data scientists, and commercial teams in the room at pace. The company ships weekly and makes reversible decisions in hours. You will argue hard in the room and then commit to decisions, even when they go against you. If something is broken and nobody owns it, you own it. You bring judgment about AI agents doing commercial work with limited supervision—it's a different risk model, not just a feature. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years in product - Shipped things that moved a measurable number at defendable scale; can explain why it worked - Properly numerate and comfortable in SQL - Can rough-estimate outcomes before building; usually within an order of magnitude - Understand systems and data models well enough that engineers take you seriously in week one (need not be an engineer) - Will argue hard then commit to team decisions - Own broken things when nobody else does - Bring judgment about AI agents in commercial work with limited supervision NICE TO HAVE: - Product experience in marketplaces, eCommerce, logistics, fintech, or domains with real money and real physics - Depth in one of the surfaces: autonomous procurement and agents, price and supply intelligence, catalogue and trust, or buyer economics NOT A FIT IF: - You describe your job as gathering requirements or managing stakeholders - You need consensus before moving - You want a stable roadmap and clean lines of responsibility - You'd rather be right in the retro than before the build - You want to be fully remote
