Postman is the world's leading API platform, used by 45+ million developers and 500,000 organizations including 98% of the Fortune 500. The company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Boston, New York, Austin, Tokyo, London, and Bangalore. You will own product initiatives end-to-end, from conception through adoption across all customer segments (SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise). Your responsibilities include: • Build and prototype: Create product prototypes rather than just documents. Use technical skills to rapidly validate ideas and get functionality in front of users early. • Live in the customer's workflow: Conduct on-site visits, manage customer deployments, and run continuous feedback loops. Translate customer insights into clear feature sets and actionable intelligence for the broader organization. • Win the market: Define competitive positioning, continuously evaluate and remove product complexity, and leverage data and customer insights to drive market success. • Own the launch: Lead beta programs with initial customers, synthesize feedback into repeatable sales plays, and partner with product marketing on enablement. Keep documentation, website, and blog content current. • Be the product voice: Answer customer questions authoritatively in support channels and serve as the authoritative voice for your product. • Close the loop: Aggressively feed market learnings back into the next development cycle. Postman operates in-office 5 days per week at all US hubs (San Francisco, Boston, Austin, New York). The role focuses on an AI-native developer platform where nearly every foundational assumption is being renegotiated in an AI-first world. REQUIREMENTS: • 6+ years of product management experience, including shipping products used at scale by developers across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science • Real technical depth: 3+ years building software, or equivalent hands-on ability to read code, open a PR, and build functional prototypes (React, Node.js, or similar) • Fluency in API technologies and developer workflows (Postman, GitHub, CI/CD, API gateways) and specification formats (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, GraphQL, Protobuf/gRPC) • Proven experience shipping AI-enabled developer tools with a considered perspective on evaluating their effectiveness • Strong analytical instincts and comfort with product analytics • Excellent communication skills bridging technical and non-technical audiences; ability to articulate product vision clearly • Mission-oriented mindset, comfort with change and ambiguity, ability to ruthlessly prioritize, move fast, and iterate quickly
