Dust is building the product layer for enterprise AI, enabling teams to coordinate work through AI agents they build and own. The company serves customers like Datadog, 1Password, and Cursor, with 70%+ weekly active users and backing from Sequoia. You'll be Dust's first PM hire, joining a ~100-person team based primarily in Paris with offices in New York, San Francisco, and London. In this role, you'll own the end-to-end product process: synthesizing GTM signal, user feedback, and company priorities into actionable problems; shaping initiatives with engineers and designers; tracking outcomes to measure impact; and improving cross-functional coordination between Marketing, GTM, and Product. You'll work at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating company priorities into intelligible, trackable initiatives while enriching projects with business context and market perspective. Rather than replacing distributed ownership, you'll enable it—your job is to make context richer and priorities sharper for the people building. You'll own both the process (how signal flows to prioritization) and specific outcomes on cross-functional initiatives, including reporting on whether shipped work moved the needle. You'll also own artifacts within the Dust platform (agents, skills, data) to continuously improve how you and the team operate. The interview process includes a recruiter conversation, hiring manager discussion, product exercise based on a real company priority, founder conversation, and onsite working sessions with Engineering, Design, and GTM. Dust values reasoning quality and collaboration over predetermined answers. Dust operates with an office-first culture, prioritizing in-person collaboration for speed and decision-making, though they trust strong judgment on flexible work arrangements when it makes sense for the task at hand. REQUIREMENTS: - 5–8+ years of product experience, including time at an early-stage company where you built process from scratch - Founding PM mentality: senior individual contributor and builder who can both establish practices and stay hands-on - Genuine product taste and deep perspective on what makes great tech products - Excellent information synthesis: ability to distill customer feedback, sales calls, and unstructured input into sharp problems - Technical proficiency to earn engineer respect; you don't need to code but must understand systems and tradeoffs deeply - Builder mindset; fluent use of AI tools and excitement about their potential for how PMs operate - Effective communication; preference for one clear statement over multiple vague ones - Comfort with distributed authority; influence through being right, not through formal authority
