Binti builds software for state and county government agencies focused on reinventing social services, starting with child welfare. The company has helped approve over 100,000 families to foster or adopt and supports 49% of the nation's child welfare system. The AI & Platform team owns the foundational engine powering every Binti module—from Licensing and Placements to Family Finding and Service Referral Management. This includes Binti AI, a suite of responsible, human-led AI tools (transcription, translation, case-specific chat) that reduce administrative burden for social workers, plus the Core Platform (shared infrastructure, data models, components, and horizontal functionality).
As Senior Product Manager for AI & Platform, you will own a technically ambitious and horizontally impactful product area. You will develop the multi-year vision for how LLMs and agentic patterns evolve to support Binti's expansion, drive the development of AI tools that transform social work (automated transcription, intelligent form pre-fill, Chat with Binti AI), and identify common pain points across modules to build platform-level solutions. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, and module-specific squads to ensure AI and platform capabilities are deeply integrated into every user's workflow.
Key responsibilities include: owning the AI & Platform roadmap; scaling Binti AI while ensuring human-led, bias-mitigated tools; driving horizontal impact across modules; collaborating with engineering on scalable AI systems and flexible platform architecture; prototyping rapidly using AI-native tools (Lovable, Claude Code, Cursor); conducting user-centric research by shadowing social workers and agency leadership; and owning metrics for platform health and AI adoption (social worker time saved, accuracy of AI-generated drafts, platform velocity).
This role reports to Product Leadership and offers a rare opportunity to define how LLMs and agentic patterns are used responsibly in government and social services at national scale.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product management experience, with heavy emphasis on B2B SaaS, developer platforms, or AI-integrated products
- Experience with regulated, government-facing, or complex workflow software is a plus
- Comfortable in technical discussions on API design, LLM orchestration, and data architecture; informed opinions on where AI belongs in high-stakes workflows
- AI-native work style: daily use of Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or v0; excitement about frontier models and applications
- Ability to distill complex, fragmented requirements into elegant, configurable platform components using systems thinking
- Experience taking products from early-stage to enterprise-scale, specifically in regulated or government-facing environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse audiences (executives, agency leadership, social workers, families)
- Passion for Binti's mission and belief that better technology leads to better outcomes for children and families
