Salary: USD 155,000 - 195,000 / annual

Funnel Leasing is a proptech SaaS company transforming the apartment rental experience through cloud-based marketing and leasing software. As Senior Product Manager, AI, you will own the strategy, roadmap, requirements, and cross-functional execution of AI-powered experiences and platform capabilities across the company. You will translate customer and business problems into scalable AI systems, agentic workflows, and shared platform capabilities. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Strategy, Customer Success, Implementation, Support, Finance/Operations, and external AI partners, you'll take AI capabilities from concept through production. Key responsibilities include: - Own the AI platform product roadmap, including research, discovery, prioritization, delivery, evaluation, and iteration - Define and document product requirements for shared AI platform capabilities: agent configuration and orchestration, AI evaluations, guardrails, knowledge and context management, tool calls and integrations, observability, failure handling, and administrative controls - Partner with Engineering and Design to build innovative, enterprise-level AI and machine learning solutions - Collaborate with AI Features team and other product teams to design AI-driven capabilities for admins, renters, and leasing agents - Identify customer and operational needs, clarify technical requirements and dependencies, surface risks, and align teams on priorities - Use data, customer feedback, support trends, evaluations, and post-launch performance to continuously improve AI platform quality and reliability - Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize AI systems, strengthen guardrails, reduce failure modes, and ensure efficient issue detection and resolution - Drive successful adoption of AI platform capabilities through coordinated launches, communications, training, and internal enablement - Foster cross-functional collaboration and a culture of continuous learning and improvement This role is ideal for a product manager or technical product manager comfortable operating at the intersection of AI, product, and engineering. You should be technically fluent enough to understand AI architectures, ask effective implementation questions, evaluate tradeoffs, and translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements. You'll navigate the ambiguity and non-deterministic nature of AI while bringing structure, rigor, and strong product judgment. Travel: <5% REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years experience as a Product Manager, ideally with ownership of AI agents or AI-powered products - Direct experience building or managing AI agents that operate across conversational channels (voice, chat, SMS, email) - B2B SaaS experience using and understanding frontier LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) - Ability to design, test, and refine prompts that clearly define AI behavior, context, constraints, and expected outcomes - Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and core concepts behind modern conversational and agentic AI systems - Understanding of AI context and knowledge retrieval approaches: Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Context-Augmented Generation (CAG), agentic retrieval, embeddings, and vector databases - Strong ability to break down complex AI systems, agent behaviors, and platform capabilities into clear product requirements and pragmatic, phased delivery plans - Experience with AI development and observability frameworks such as LangChain, LangSmith, or similar tools (strongly preferred) - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field (strongly preferred) - Excellent cross-functional communication skills, especially with Engineering, Design, Operations, Support, and customer-facing teams - Ability to operate in ambiguity, ask the right questions, and bring structure to complex problem spaces - Detail orientation, especially around accuracy, error states, permissions, and operational impact - Experience leveraging AI within the product management/SDLC lifecycle - Experience working with and managing vendor relationships for third-party integrations NICE TO HAVE: - Experience in property management, multifamily, proptech, leasing, CRM, or resident experience software
