fomo is a high-growth trading app that has onboarded over 3 million users and generated $100M+ in revenue since launching in May 2025. The company has raised ~$100M from top-tier investors including Benchmark, Index Ventures, and Union Square Ventures. fomo combines social features (follow top traders, view portfolios and trades) with best-in-class execution and data for experienced traders, making trading accessible to newcomers while serving sophisticated users.
As Senior Product Designer, you will own features end-to-end across all surfaces (mobile, web, and beyond), from problem framing through shipped product. You'll work closely with frontend engineers daily, prototyping, iterating, and refining until details are right. Your responsibilities include:
- Owning end-to-end features across mobile, web, and other platforms, from problem definition to launch
- Collaborating closely with frontend engineers to build, review, and refine implementations
- Rapid prototyping to test interactions and flows before committing to development
- Leveraging AI and new design tools to accelerate delivery and helping shape how the team designs and ships
- Contributing to and evolving the fomo design system
The role is based in fomo's new, spacious SoHo office in NYC. The company has a strong in-person culture and values direct collaboration.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product design experience at a mid to senior level
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high craft and sharp product intuition, with shipped work you owned end-to-end
- Strong prototyping skills and comfort iterating and shipping with AI and new tools
- Ability to thrive with autonomy and ownership on a small, flat team
- Experience or strong interest in consumer or fintech products (preferred)
- Personal crypto trading experience (preferred; team members trade and this informs product differentiation)
