Dandy is transforming the dental industry through technology, building an operating system for dental practices globally. This role is part of the digital dentistry revolution, focusing on precision CAD design for dental restorations.
You will transform digital dental scans into precise multi-unit crown designs using 3Shape software and proprietary tools. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing dental crowns based on scans and dentist prescriptions, including multi-unit posterior and anterior cases
- Ensuring exceptional accuracy and quality in every crown design with meticulous attention to detail
- Mirroring multiple anterior units with symmetry and harmony
- Creating natural and smooth transitions between mirrored and natural anatomy
- Selecting appropriate smile library references when contralateral references are unavailable
- Managing spacing, rotations, and alignment challenges with balanced esthetic outcomes
- Designing proper interproximal and occlusal contacts for functional integration
- Adhering to design specifications and delivering within set timeframes
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and communicating clearly with stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of strong CAD experience, specifically in anterior cases
- Demonstrated experience in abutment/bars and crown & bridge design
- Proficiency with 3Shape software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Comfort with digital platforms (Google Suites) and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
- Problem-solving mindset and time management skills
- Willingness to invest time in troubleshooting and resolving design issues
