SoSafe, a fast-growing European cybersecurity scale-up backed by Highland Europe and Global Founders Capital, is seeking a Senior Product Analytics Engineer to join its product organization. The role focuses on translating complex data into actionable insights that drive product strategy, user experience, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own product analytics across different product lines, defining and tracking success metrics aligned with product and company strategy
- Influence critical product decisions by crafting compelling data stories based on deep understanding of product, users, and business
- Build reusable, scalable data products enabling self-service analytics and democratizing data access across teams
- Establish governed self-service analytics layer by defining event instrumentation practices and taxonomy for event-driven architecture
- Drive data literacy across the organization, empowering teams to generate insights independently through enablement and partnership
- Leverage AI and LLM tools to compress workflow—from query generation to dashboard building to insight synthesis—increasing speed and scope of delivery
- Work cross-functionally with Go-to-Market teams to connect product usage to commercial outcomes (win/loss, expansion, renewal) and scale repeatable analyses
The role requires work authorization in the UK, Ireland, or Portugal, with office access available in London, Dublin, and Lisbon.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data science, with significant direct support of product teams in B2B companies
- Expert-level knowledge of product analytics fundamentals: metric trees, experimentation, user activity & retention analytics, funnels, customer segmentation
- Expert SQL skills and strong hands-on experience with dbt for data transformations; Python coding experience also valued
- Strong data modeling expertise for scale and reusability
- Demonstrated experience using current LLM offerings to meaningfully improve workflows or results, with concrete examples of automation, speed improvements, or offloading and measurable impact
- Experience with event-based tracking data for web or mobile and hands-on use of behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Heap, Mixpanel)
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and succinctly to diverse stakeholders enabling rapid decision-making
- Relevant cross-functional project experience with GTM teams (Customer Success, RevOps, Product Marketing) such as churn early-warning systems, renewal/expansion predictors, or win-loss usage mapping
- Strategic mindset combining curiosity and ambition, continuously seeking better ways to deliver impact and drive business outcomes
