ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of the Cloud Platform portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of product, infrastructure, and business strategy, responsible for defining how ServiceNow is deployed, operated, and experienced across commercial, sovereign, partner-hosted, and customer-operated environments. You will drive cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, security, legal, compliance, infrastructure, and go-to-market teams to deliver strategic platform initiatives. This includes building alignment across diverse stakeholders in highly matrixed environments, communicating priorities clearly to executive, technical, and customer-facing audiences, and ensuring critical business objectives are achieved. Key responsibilities include evaluating customer requirements, regulatory trends, cloud industry developments, and hyperscaler capabilities to inform strategic investment decisions. You will integrate customer feedback, business priorities, and technical constraints into clear product recommendations and execution plans, developing executive-level recommendations that communicate complex tradeoffs across technical, operational, and business stakeholders. A critical aspect of this role is serving as the accountable owner for strategic initiatives, driving outcomes regardless of organizational boundaries or ownership ambiguity. You will identify and close execution gaps across product, engineering, operations, compliance, go-to-market, and marketing teams, taking initiative to lead workstreams outside traditional role definitions when necessary. You will also partner with field teams on strategic customer opportunities, serve as a trusted subject matter expert for ServiceNow's cloud platform, and support market expansion and regional growth strategies. The role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership beyond formal organizational boundaries, and consistently focuses on outcomes over roles. Success means stepping outside traditional product management responsibilities to unblock strategic initiatives and drive alignment across teams. **Requirements:** - 12+ years of product management experience in cloud platforms, enterprise software, infrastructure services, or medium to large-scale SaaS environments with a Bachelor's degree; OR 8 years with a Master's degree; OR a PhD with 5 years experience; OR equivalent experience - Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving - Deep knowledge of cloud computing architectures and hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) - Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms and operational considerations for running cloud services at global scale - Proven experience defining product strategy and roadmaps for complex technical platforms - Demonstrated ability to drive complex cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, operations, security, compliance, legal, partnerships, and go-to-market teams - Exceptional ownership mindset with history of driving initiatives to successful outcomes, even when responsibility spans multiple organizations or falls outside formal role definitions - Proven ability to identify organizational gaps, create clarity in ambiguous situations, and proactively drive action - Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and make effective decisions in fast-paced environments - Experience conducting market analysis, competitive assessment, customer discovery, and research to inform product strategy - Ability to translate complex business, technical, and customer requirements into clear product priorities and execution plans - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for executive, business, technical, and customer audiences - Demonstrated success influencing without authority and leading initiatives across large organizations - Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, highly collaborative, and ambiguous environments **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience working at a hyperscaler, cloud provider, or mid to large enterprise SaaS company - Experience supporting globally distributed SaaS platforms and multi-region cloud deployments - Experience with cloud security, compliance, sovereignty, data residency, or regulated cloud environments - Experience driving cloud transformation, architecture modernization, or datacenter-to-cloud initiatives - Familiarity with AI infrastructure, cloud-native AI services, and impact of AI workloads on platform architecture and operations - Experience supporting strategic customer engagements, executive briefings, and customer-facing product discussions
