Nexthink is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to design, deploy, and run AWS infrastructure that serves as the foundation for the entire engineering organization. This role is critical to the company's mission of providing digital employee experience management software, handling trillions of events per day across a global, cell-based architecture.
You will own the end-to-end AWS infrastructure stack, including networking, edge services, multi-account cell architecture, and EKS platforms. Your responsibilities span operational work, infrastructure automation, requests from product and feature teams, and greenfield platform design. You'll automate infrastructure provisioning and upgrades using infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices, ensuring the platform remains consistent and drift-free. Working closely with product teams, you'll translate their needs into self-service capabilities that enable team autonomy.
Reliability, security, and cost-efficiency are core to your mandate. You'll manage upgrades, autoscaling, observability, and security hardening while maintaining compliance with FedRAMP and FIPS standards. You'll participate in the on-call rotation and help architect the platform's evolution to support new workloads, including AI and agent-based systems, at increasing scale and resilience.
The Core Infrastructure team operates with real ownership—you make decisions about what's best for the platform rather than working through a ticket queue. The team collaborates closely with downstream engineering teams and avoids silos. You'll work on a live, production platform that's already delivering value; the challenge is taking it from good to excellent. The organization leverages AI tools daily and is automating repetitive operational work, preferring engineers to operators.
Nexthink is a mature, well-funded B2B SaaS company with over 1,200 employees across 5 continents, serving more than 1,500 customers and 25+ million employees globally. The company is dual-headquartered in Lausanne and Boston, with 9 offices worldwide. The Madrid office is centrally located near the Bernabéu Stadium and offers a hybrid work model with structured onboarding for new hires.
