Sportradar is seeking a Senior People Systems Specialist to own the reporting and analytics landscape for HR and people operations. This is a hands-on senior role combining strategic direction-setting with day-to-day delivery.
You will own what the organization measures and reports on—challenging metrics that no longer add value, retiring unused reports, and proposing what leadership should be tracking instead. You'll design, build, and maintain all custom Workday reports and dashboards, including advanced, matrix, and composite reports with calculated fields. Your work will make self-service analytics the default: HR Business Partners, Finance, and senior leadership should answer their own questions in seconds rather than queue for reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing reporting strategy across the organization
- Building and optimizing Workday Discovery Boards, People Analytics content, and Worksheets
- Creating Power BI models that combine Workday data with other enterprise systems
- Designing and implementing data flows between Workday and downstream systems
- Establishing data quality standards, validation processes, and security protocols for sensitive people data
- Training stakeholders on self-service reporting to reduce dependency on ad-hoc requests
- Automating recurring reporting tasks (RaaS-enabled reports, scheduled deliveries) to shift effort toward continuous improvement
- Laying the data foundation for AI tooling—ensuring clean, well-structured, well-governed people data
- Handling day-to-day reporting requests while identifying patterns to build scalable solutions
The role balances strategic work (setting direction, designing systems) with tactical delivery (turning around urgent requests, maintaining BAU reporting).
Sportradar is a global sports technology company serving 1,700+ sports federations, media outlets, betting operators, and consumer platforms across 120 countries. The company operates on an office-first model with four days per week in-office in London, with certain exemptions possible depending on location.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Expertise in Workday reporting: Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports, Calculated Fields, Worksheets, and Discovery Boards
- People Analytics SKU experience
- Hands-on experience with Workday security (domain and business process security, report-level security, designing access for sensitive data)
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI reports and data models, including combining Workday data with other sources
- Strong understanding of Workday data structures and organizational design
- Ability to collaborate across HR, Finance, and business stakeholders with focus on usability and data quality
- Judgment to push back on reporting requests and propose better solutions, balanced with pragmatism for urgent requests
NICE TO HAVES:
- People Analytics SKU experience
- Eagerness to experiment with AI and scaling automations/analysis
- Experience training or enabling non-technical stakeholders on self-service reporting
- Configuration experience in additional Workday modules (HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Performance, Time, Absence, Benefits)
