ProRata.ai is hiring a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer to own the technical implementation and operational success of their partner ecosystem for Gist Answers, an AI-powered answer engine that helps publishers deliver trusted, attributed answers using licensed content. You will own end-to-end technical onboarding for publishing partners, including content ingestion, widget configuration, prompt tuning, and AI answer optimization. This includes launch readiness assessment, configuration guidance, QA validation, and coordination of technical timelines across partners, Engineering, and Strategic Partnerships teams. As the first responder for partner-reported issues, you'll reproduce bugs, diagnose widget and configuration problems, validate AI answer quality, and escalate to Engineering with clear, reproducible bug reports. You'll maintain strong SLAs and serve as the technical liaison between partners and the engineering team, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and partners feel supported throughout their lifecycle. You'll also drive partner optimization by evaluating and improving AI answer quality—including relevance, tone, formatting, and suggested questions—and collaborating with Data & Operations and Strategic Partnerships on periodic audits to identify configuration gaps and engagement trends. As an early member of the Partner Solutions function, you'll help define processes, tooling, and best practices that enable ProRata to scale partner operations. This includes building internal sources of truth for partner onboarding statuses and configurations, maintaining implementation guides and playbooks, and documenting partner configurations and troubleshooting procedures. You'll become the internal subject matter expert on partner implementations, routing issues appropriately and sharing implementation knowledge across Partnerships, Product, Design, and Engineering. You'll identify recurring implementation challenges and partner with product and engineering teams to improve the platform and reduce future support burden. The ideal candidate is technically fluent enough to navigate APIs, interpret console logs, validate widget implementations, understand embed code, and triage bugs independently—but doesn't necessarily need to write production code. You have a basic understanding of generative AI and LLMs, including how prompting, context, and configuration influence AI outputs. You communicate clearly with partners, are highly organized with strong SLA discipline, and can work autonomously while managing multiple concurrent partner implementations.
