Precision for Medicine seeks a Senior Operations Specialist to drive operational excellence across the organization. This role is part of the Business & Operational Excellence group and focuses on process improvement, change management, and operational efficiency within a biotechnology/CRO environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluate business processes and workflows to identify improvement and automation opportunities
- Lead root-cause problem-solving with cross-functional stakeholders to address process challenges
- Develop and implement recommendations for process improvement in collaboration with subject matter experts
- Design and deploy new business processes with organizational priorities in mind
- Lead change management initiatives, including communication frameworks and adoption strategies
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor operational performance
- Provide training and guidance to teams on new processes and continuous improvement
- Monitor and measure effectiveness of initiatives, making adjustments as needed
- Ensure sustained adoption of process, system, and organizational changes
- Support standardized best practices across the organization
The role executes functional priorities with minimal oversight and requires strong collaboration across diverse stakeholders. Travel as needed.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years in change management, operations support, and process improvement
- Experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology drug development
- Strong understanding of drug development and relevant functional areas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Teams
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory guidance
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Understanding of change management models (e.g., ADKAR)
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in teams
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
