As Senior Operations Project and Program Manager, you will own the highest-priority initiatives on the operations roadmap and drive them to completion. This role requires both disciplined project execution and analytical rigor to determine which projects merit investment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end across the network, including new product introductions, ingredient changes, cost and capacity optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead new product initiatives through operations, partnering with Commercialization, R&D, and Technical Ops to bring approved products to market. You own operational readiness: capacity and sourcing requirements, trial planning, production scale-up, launch execution, and post-launch management.
- Assess and mitigate operational risks across the project portfolio—capacity shortfalls, single points of failure, supplier and quality exposure—building contingency plans to keep commitments intact.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Take a leading role in project prioritization relative to strategic company initiatives, building business cases and feasibility inputs.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and influence outcomes by leading optimization efforts in partnership with Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Technical Operations, Commercialization, Nutrition, Innovation, Growth, and FP&A.
- Improve gross margin by understanding operational P&Ls and partnering with FP&A to identify and act on margin opportunities through strategic procurement and network initiatives.
- Analyze operational performance data—capacity, productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost—to surface insights and improvement opportunities.
- Create and deliver executive-level presentations communicating project progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
- Streamline processes and drive business simplification by identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks, then partnering with cross-functional teams to design and implement improvements using continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
- Build tools and governance that keep projects on track—stage gates, status reporting, and post-launch reviews.
