Salary: USD 75,100 - 142,600 / annual

Boston Scientific seeks a Senior Operations Planning Analyst to optimize performance across Tier 1 U.S. distribution centers. You will apply advanced analytical and data science techniques to drive efficiency in product flow, storage systems, and inventory management across the distribution network. Key responsibilities include developing quantitative throughput, capacity, and inventory storage models using operations research methodologies and mathematical modeling. You will perform advanced analysis to improve operational performance, provide routine and ad hoc reporting on inventory, velocity, and capacity metrics, and scope data requirements for distribution centers. The role involves evaluating and revising system processes to reduce operating costs, collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs, and supporting the development and implementation of future technologies and processes. You will drive continuous improvement in storage and capacity management systems, partner with business systems experts to develop enhancements that improve efficiency, and maintain commitment to patient safety and product quality aligned with Boston Scientific's Quality Policy. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in mathematics, data science, engineering, or related quantitative field, with minimum 5 years' experience in operations, distribution center/warehouse operations, or logistics. You must have proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel), ETL and data visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI), and programming languages (SQL, Python, or R). Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, 5-10 years of operations experience, prior Boston Scientific experience, medical device or FDA-regulated environment background, familiarity with Manhattan Active WMS, SAP ECC/S/4HANA, labor management systems, Lean Six Sigma, and project management experience. This hybrid role requires presence in Plainfield, IN or Quincy, MA offices at least three days per week. Boston Scientific does not offer visa sponsorship or relocation assistance for this position.
