Commure is building an AI Operating System for healthcare, combining ambient AI documentation, intelligent workflow automation, and autonomous revenue cycle management (RCM) processing. The company processes $25B+ in annual claims across 500+ healthcare organizations and 500,000+ clinicians.
You will be the first hire on Commure's Hospital Billing team, owning hospital launches end-to-end from contract signature through stabilized production billing. This is a founding role where you will write the playbook rather than follow one.
Key responsibilities:
- Own hospital launches end-to-end as the named point of contact, managing the full journey from contract through go-live and stabilized collections
- Build the hospital launch playbook from scratch: diligence processes, customer management workflows, rule creation, configuration, and automation
- Translate enterprise complexity (multiple tax IDs, multiple EHRs, institutional adjudication rules) into executable implementation plans
- Coordinate daily with implementation, product, and payer enrollment teams to ensure no account is carried solo
- Establish clear SLAs and handoff processes with internal partner teams
- Own accounts post-go-live, driving stable and repeatable collections before transition to long-term management
- Help define Launch and Account Management functions as the Hospital Billing team scales
- Work directly with hospital leadership, operations teams, CFOs, and revenue integrity teams
You will work closely with the Hospital Billing GM and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Account Management. Unlike typical implementation roles, you retain ownership of the account and financial outcomes after go-live.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or operations at a fast-paced SaaS tech company
- Demonstrated history of creating opportunities and seeking ownership positions
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel; SQL or robust analytical background (finance, consulting) is a plus
- Expertise in project management with multiple deployments in fast-paced environments
- Ability to build processes without a playbook; comfort with ambiguity and autonomous prioritization
- Ability to run meetings with health system CFOs and revenue integrity teams on complex subjects
- Strong people skills and relentless focus on understanding customer needs
- Healthcare or RCM experience is a plus, not required
