EdCast is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage all aspects of LAN/WAN network infrastructure in a 24/7/365 production SaaS environment. Reporting to the Associate Director of Network Engineering, you will work closely with Site Reliability Operations, Systems Engineering, and Software Development teams to support a global, highly available platform. Key Responsibilities: - Day-to-day operational support of distributed network infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments - Configuration, administration, upgrade, and maintenance of network switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls - Troubleshoot technical issues with technical staff and end-users - Monitor and manage network security, traffic, and performance using tools such as SolarWinds, Thousand Eyes, Panorama, New Relic, Grafana, and Logic Monitor - Maintain Cornerstone's global SaaS service with incident tracking, remediation, and change management under company policies - Develop documentation and diagrams for Standard Operating Procedure documents - Establish enterprise data network standards aligned with strategic initiatives - Manage medium to large-scale public and private IP address schemes - Ensure security, availability, resiliency, and compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC 1/2, FedRamp, PCI) - Implement network security controls including ACLs, firewall filtering, and VPN solutions This role offers significant visibility and growth potential for an ambitious IT professional who can think creatively, work independently, and present solutions to complex networking challenges in a fast-paced, globally scaled environment. Requirements: - CCNA level certification required; CCNP or higher preferred - 5–8 years of network engineering experience in a data center environment - In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, IP addressing (DHCP, NAT), MPLS, VPN, VLANs, load balancing, and wireless technologies - Proven experience delivering network services in mid-size or larger enterprises - Hands-on experience with multiple vendors: Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Arista, F5, A10, Brocade, and Meraki - Deep expertise in OSPF and BGP routing protocols - L2/L3 switching on enterprise-class hardware (Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Brocade) - Experience securing networks with Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls - F5 and A10 load balancer configuration and design principles - Network change management control tools and policies experience - Demonstrated ability to build scalable, highly available, mission-critical network infrastructures - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities - Security compliance experience related to networking - Team player with flexibility and dependability Preferred: - Virtualization experience - ITIL certification
