Prenuvo is a preventative healthcare company pioneering whole-body MRI scanning technology. This Senior MRI Technologist role combines advanced clinical expertise with operational leadership at their Houston clinic.
You will perform high-quality whole-body MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and protocol adherence. Responsibilities include reviewing medical intake forms for implant compatibility, investigating safety concerns, verifying scan indications, conducting image post-processing, and maintaining clinic readiness. You'll manage PACS systems, order supplies, and ensure equipment cleanliness.
As a clinical leader, you will mentor and coach MRI technologists, providing training on patient safety, room preparation, image acquisition, and post-processing. You'll conduct routine scan quality audits, review protocol adherence and image quality, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. You'll promote documentation standardization and adherence to Prenuvo quality standards.
Operationally, you'll monitor scanner utilization, identify scheduling trends, investigate operational issues like claustrophobia or safety exclusions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency. You'll assist with scheduling adjustments and overtime coordination.
The position is permanent, on-site at 3720 Westheimer Rd, Houston, operating Monday-Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Prenuvo offers competitive wages, flexible scheduling with no on-call duties, top-of-the-line MRI systems, and a collaborative tech-forward culture.
