Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 / annual
Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute backbone for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will bridge engineering design and production execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, playing a critical role in scaling hardware infrastructure for AI compute.
You will lead the interpretation of complex mechanical and electrical engineering documentation (fabrication drawings, schematics, BOMs) and translate it into manufacturing-ready processes. You'll drive production data migration into manufacturing systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the organization. Acting as the primary liaison between engineering, production, purchasing, inventory, and project management, you'll coordinate planning deliverables and maintain seamless cross-functional communication.
Key responsibilities include owning the creation and maintenance of Manufacturing Processes and Work Instructions aligned with Engineering Document Control standards; spearheading continuous improvement initiatives focused on First Pass Yield (FPY) and Overall Process Effectiveness (OPE) using data-driven insights; overseeing supplier collaboration for quotes and technical proposals; managing ERP data accuracy and optimization; leading identification of gauging and specialized equipment needs; and serving as the manufacturing engineering voice in cross-functional meetings to align on timelines and resolve technical issues.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic, fast-growing company solving the power bottleneck in AI infrastructure. You'll work across multiple sites with a geographically dispersed team, requiring both technical depth and strategic vision.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
- Proven expertise in manufacturing process design, process improvements, and Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) initiatives
- Extensive experience with manufacturing processes, mechanical machinery, power electronics, or industrial controls
- Proficiency reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, and Engineering Bills of Materials
- Familiarity with sourcing, purchasing practices, production management, and advanced continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, SolidWorks, and standard productivity software (Google Suite, Microsoft Office)
- Ability to lead effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments across multiple sites with geographically dispersed teams
- Safety-sensitive position: drug and alcohol program participation required
BONUS:
- Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role
- Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB) certifications
- Expertise in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Experience with formal quality management systems
