Marvel Fusion, Europe's leading fusion energy company founded in 2019, is seeking a Senior Manager of Technology Partnerships to join the Laser Team in Munich. The company has raised over €385 million in public and private funding and operates across Munich and Colorado with 120+ scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs focused on delivering clean, abundant fusion energy.
In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between the Laser & Infrastructure Teams and corporate functions (Accounting, Purchasing, Financial Planning). You will own technology partnership strategy development, including alignment with the technology roadmap and clear decision gates. Key responsibilities include screening and evaluating external and publicly funded projects, technology scouting and early partner engagement, developing joint roadmaps with key partners, and supporting supplier development for critical laser components.
You will also oversee project and program management (PMO) for laser-related programs, including project governance, portfolio management, budget and resource planning, and risk management. This includes financial budget planning, regular KPI reporting to leadership, and ensuring programs stay on track while keeping teams focused and motivated. You will coordinate strategic and operational projects with internal and external partners and maintain intensive cross-functional communication across all departments.
