CoreWeave is a publicly traded AI cloud infrastructure company (Nasdaq: CRWV, founded 2017) that provides GPU compute, high-performance networking, storage, and Kubernetes-powered infrastructure for AI and HPC workloads at scale. You will lead CoreWeave's global 24/7/365 infrastructure support engineering function as Senior Manager. This is a department-level role with significant company visibility and influence. The Technical Support Engineering - Infrastructure team operates on a Direct-to-Expert model, routing customers to the right expert quickly while maintaining single-owner accountability end-to-end. The team sits at the intersection of customers and CoreWeave's product engineering organization, triaging complex technical issues, coordinating escalations, and feeding field insights back into the product roadmap. Key responsibilities: - Own strategy, health, and performance of the entire 24/7/365 infrastructure support function across regions and domains - Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and development of a globally distributed engineering team through coaching and performance management - Stay hands-on: escalate on complex customer-impacting issues and serve as senior technical escalation point - Build enablement and career-development frameworks for onboarding, technical training, and progression paths - Implement quality assurance programs including ticket reviews and best-practice playbooks - Design and own the support operating model: roles, escalation boundaries, coverage/staffing, SLOs - Lead customer communication during critical incidents - Track KPIs on team performance and customer satisfaction; own strategic planning for growth and scalability - Build cross-functional alignment with Product Engineering, Specialist Field Engineers, and domain teams - Champion customer voice to drive product, tooling, and process improvements - Represent the function in company-level planning and prioritization discussions Required qualifications: - 5+ years of people-leadership experience - 8+ years total in technical support/operations, including running 24/7 support at scale in cloud operations - Strong background in Linux, containerization technologies, and Kubernetes - Understanding of virtualization and cloud computing concepts - Experience at a hyperscaler or cloud infrastructure provider is a strong plus - Leadership style grounded in empathy and willingness to work alongside the team - Proven track record building enablement and quality programs that scale
