CoreWeave is a publicly traded AI cloud infrastructure company (Nasdaq: CRWV, founded 2017) that provides GPU compute, high-performance networking, storage, and Kubernetes-powered infrastructure for AI and HPC workloads at scale.
You will lead CoreWeave's global 24/7/365 Technical Support Engineering - Infrastructure function as Senior Manager, owning strategy, health, and performance of a large, geographically distributed team of skilled engineers who resolve customers' most complex technical challenges. This is a department-level role with significant company visibility and influence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the entire infrastructure support function's strategy and operating model, including coverage/staffing, escalation boundaries, SLOs, and response targets
- Build and scale a globally distributed team through hiring, onboarding, performance management, and tailored coaching
- Stay hands-on: escalate on complex customer-impacting issues and serve as a senior technical escalation point
- Design and implement enablement and career-development frameworks that create repeatable paths for growth
- Establish quality assurance programs (ticket reviews, playbooks) that maintain resolution speed, accuracy, and consistency as volume scales
- Lead customer communication during critical incidents with clarity and empathy
- Track KPIs on team performance and customer satisfaction; own strategic planning for growth
- Build cross-functional alignment with Product Engineering, Specialist Field Engineers, and domain teams to make the Direct-to-Expert model work at scale
- Champion customer voice, turning support patterns into product and process improvements
- Represent the function in company-level planning and prioritization discussions
Required qualifications: 5+ years of people-leadership experience and 8+ years total in technical support/operations, including running a 24/7 support function at scale in a cloud operations environment. Strong background in Linux, containerization, and Kubernetes; understanding of virtualization and cloud computing. Experience at a hyperscaler or cloud infrastructure provider is a strong plus. You lead with empathy, get hands-on alongside your team, and excel at talent development and building scalable enablement programs.
