Salary: USD 212,000 - 265,000 / annual
Zscaler is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Test Engineering to lead a high-performing Quality Assurance team within the Zero Trust Exchange organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Software Engineering, you will drive innovation and scaling of the Zscaler Client Connector Portal service from the San Jose headquarters.
In this role, you will lead the QA team through the adoption of AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) methodologies while collaborating with product and operations teams. You will direct cloud operations including upgrades, scalability improvements, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal service performance. You will drive the transition of the engineering team to a comprehensive full-service ownership model and partner with product management to define and execute the strategic product roadmap.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience integrating AI-driven methodologies or AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) principles into software development and QA workflows
- 7+ years of experience building, leading, and scaling Quality Assurance or software engineering teams
- 5+ years of experience working with cloud-based deployments and cloud operations
- 3+ years of experience with hyperscale cloud platforms, specifically AWS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Hands-on experience writing Python and shell scripts for automation, with proficiency in Java, SSL, and MySQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current, hands-on experience utilizing AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) methodologies to optimize software delivery
- In-depth, advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and microservices architectures
- U.S. citizenship (work scope can include working in a federal environment)
