Salary: USD 170,000 - 175,000 / annual
Modern Animal seeks a Senior Manager of Strategy and Operations to lead operational excellence across its veterinary care platform. This role bridges product, engineering, and clinical teams to design and optimize omnichannel workflows spanning virtual care, in-clinic services, prescriptions, diagnostics, and triage. You will formulate strategy and continuously improve processes to ensure they are simple, scalable, and member-centered.
Key responsibilities include: mapping and redesigning end-to-end workflows to identify bottlenecks and align stakeholders; acting as the operational liaison between Product/Engineering and care teams to ensure seamless feature integration; managing labor forecasting and hours planning across virtual and in-clinic operations; building and evolving forecasting models to guide staffing and demand management; partnering with Finance and Clinic Operations on cost structure and tradeoffs; leading analysis and strategy for monetizing virtual care and expanding total addressable market; evaluating new business lines, pricing strategies, and revenue opportunities; managing cross-functional product and workflow launches; and supervising the Strategy and Operations team.
The role requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Management Studies, or related field, plus 36 months of experience in Business Management, Operations, and Strategy Consulting. Required expertise includes business process optimization, statistical data analysis, time/risk/financial management, product market segmentation, staff management, and go-to-market operations. Position is based in Culver City with flexibility to work from home anywhere in the U.S., plus approximately 10% travel to client sites and headquarters.
