Jane App is hiring a Senior Manager of Business Systems to lead the configuration, integration, and stewardship of the company's business systems and tools landscape. Reporting to the Head of Business Systems, IT and Data, you will own a critical function: bringing rigor and systems thinking to how Jane selects, configures, and integrates the tools that power the business.
Today, Jane's tools are managed by functional admins working within their own domains. As the company scales and data, automation, and AI become central to operations, you'll establish a consolidated view of the entire tools landscape—what's being used, where, how it's configured, costs, overlaps, and gaps. You'll lead tool selection and procurement decisions by partnering with functional leaders across Revenue, Customer, People, Finance, and Marketing to evaluate options, assess total cost of ownership, and ensure integration and data implications are understood.
You'll establish standards for system configuration and administration, moving Jane from informal practices to disciplined, requirements-driven operations. A key responsibility is designing and operating the integration and middleware layer—the connective tissue between systems using iPaaS, APIs, and event streams—so data flows reliably and intentionally. You'll also partner closely with the Analytics team to ensure data ingestion and pipeline infrastructure work consistently in both directions: source-system data lands cleanly in the warehouse, and relevant internal app data flows back to tools as needed.
Your role requires 8+ years in business systems or enterprise applications with 4+ years leading teams. You need demonstrated experience owning a business systems function at scale in a SaaS company (ideally one that grew through 500–1,500 employees). Direct hands-on experience implementing a major CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce) is essential, including configuration, integration, and data architecture decisions. You should have a strong technical foundation across modern SaaS tooling—CRM, finance and HR systems, support and ticketing, identity and access—and proven experience designing and operating integration architectures. Experience partnering with Data & Analytics teams on ingestion and pipeline infrastructure is required. You'll bring vendor selection and procurement instincts, a consultative requirements-first orientation, excellent cross-functional influence and stakeholder management skills, and a demonstrated ability to standardize and operationalize functions.
