Salary: USD 110,000 - 140,000 / annual
Galileo is seeking a Senior Manager of Licensing and Credentialing to lead the strategy, capabilities, and execution of credentialing and licensing operations across 50 states. This role reports to the VP of People and owns the end-to-end credentialing and multi-state licensing process, including policy implementation, provider onboarding/offboarding, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key responsibilities include: managing the delegated credentialing program and health plan audits; overseeing Medicare, Medicaid, and external payer credentialing; ensuring provider compliance with state and federal regulations; establishing and monitoring state-specific NP/MD supervision ratios and collaborative practice agreements; building efficient internal workflows; creating dashboards and reporting systems; and partnering with Clinical Operations, Clinical Providers, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition teams.
You will also manage team development and performance, creating an inclusive, high-morale environment. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of credentialing experience, 2-4 years of supervisory/team management experience, proven ability to design and scale complex credentialing processes, and familiarity with healthcare provider platforms (CAQH, PECOS). You should thrive in high-performing, entrepreneurial settings with exceptional attention to detail and process orientation.
