Oura is seeking a Senior Manager of IT Systems and Platform Engineering to lead the infrastructure, identity, and engineering programs supporting the company's global workforce at scale. This role manages a team of senior IT platform engineers responsible for enterprise identity systems (Okta, Lumos, Delinea), network infrastructure, endpoint engineering, remote access modernization, and Joiner/Mover/Leaver transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading and developing a senior engineering team with focus on career growth and domain ownership across Identity, Endpoint, and Security Engineering; owning delivery accountability for major IT programs including identity maturation, Privileged Access Management (PAM) deployment, network-as-a-service, and remote access modernization; managing vendor and implementation partner relationships with milestone accountability and performance governance; and serving as a business partner across Security, GRC, Legal, People, and Finance functions by translating technical risk into actionable business language for executives. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in enterprise IT with at least 3+ years managing technical teams at Senior Manager level or above in high-growth technology companies. Required expertise includes hands-on experience building and operating identity platforms, proven Okta or modern enterprise IAM proficiency across full program delivery (JML automation, IGA governance, PAM vaulting, SCIM provisioning), multi-cloud fluency (AWS, Azure, GCP), and demonstrated success building and scaling technical teams across multiple organizations. Additional qualifications include vendor and partner management experience, cross-functional influence across 3+ organizational functions, exceptional communication skills, agile methodology proficiency (Jira/Confluence), and participation in rotating on-call schedules for critical infrastructure incidents. This is a remote US-East role with strong geographic preference for candidates in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or Massachusetts.
