Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion, is seeking a Senior Manager of Inventory Operations to lead enterprise-wide inventory accuracy and control across rapidly scaling manufacturing operations.
In this high-impact leadership role, you will own end-to-end inventory accuracy, build and scale systems and processes, and lead a team of inventory control specialists. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing cycle count programs across all facilities, leading year-end physical inventory audits, establishing governance frameworks and SOPs, and partnering with analytics teams to build real-time dashboards and reporting tools. You will brief executive leadership on inventory health metrics, drive operational improvements by identifying and fixing systemic root causes of discrepancies, and collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and IT teams.
You will operate at both strategic and tactical levels—moving fluidly between hands-on floor improvements, analytics partnerships, and executive communication. Additional responsibilities include defining inventory control standards for new facility launches, evaluating and implementing inventory management technologies (ERP, WMS, RFID), and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Required: 8+ years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record building and scaling cycle count programs and achieving sustained accuracy improvements. Experience managing and developing teams, deep knowledge of inventory control methodologies (cycle counting, ABC analysis, root cause analysis), and strong analytical skills. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and warehouse management systems required. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Preferred: Experience in high-growth manufacturing or defense/aerospace environments, familiarity with advanced analytics tools (SQL, Python, Tableau), APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP), experience with RFID/barcode automation, and track record in regulated environments (ITAR, DFARS).
