Ramp is building intelligent financial infrastructure for enterprise companies, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ organizations. The company handles payment authorization, risk flagging, spend categorization, and financial close processes at scale.
You'll lead Ramp's Deal Desk function as a Senior Manager, owning a strategic go-to-market operation that sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, Revenue Operations, and Billing. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance commercial creativity with operational discipline.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a small Deal Desk team while remaining actively involved in complex deal structuring
- Owning the end-to-end deal approval process, from Salesforce and CPQ through contracting and downstream financial systems
- Designing creative commercial solutions across pricing, contract terms, payment structures, and packaging that drive growth while protecting pricing discipline
- Building and improving approval frameworks, pricing guardrails, and deal governance policies that enable rapid, consistent decision-making
- Driving automation and process improvements across Deal Desk workflows, reporting, and quote-to-cash operations
- Leveraging data to identify trends, optimize operational performance, and inform commercial strategy
- Creating scalable playbooks, documentation, and enablement resources that position Deal Desk as a strategic business partner
You'll need 6+ years in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Strategic Finance, or Commercial Operations at high-growth tech companies. Deep expertise in pricing, deal structuring, contracting, approvals, and quote-to-cash lifecycle is essential. You should have direct experience supporting complex enterprise deals and non-standard commercial structures, plus proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams while staying hands-on. Strong commercial judgment, analytical problem-solving, systems thinking, and cross-functional influence are critical. The role requires active use of AI tools (Claude, etc.) as a core part of daily workflow automation and analysis.
