Jerry is building an AI-powered platform to manage all your physical assets—starting with car insurance and expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, and beyond. The company has reached 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, scaled revenue 70X, and achieved profitability in early 2024. The mission is to grow from 5M to 50M customers and become a $10B business in the next four years.
The Business Operations & Analytics team is a core strategic function, staffed by former McKinsey, BCG, and Bain consultants who drive data-informed decision-making across product, growth, tech, and operations. Each business unit has an embedded BizOps team member who doesn't just run analyses and build dashboards, but shapes what questions to ask, what data to pull, what conclusions to draw, and what decisions to make.
As Senior Manager, you will sit on the central BizOps & Analytics team and be embedded in one of Jerry's core business areas—Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships. You will own the analytical function for that business unit end-to-end.
Key responsibilities:
- Define the right problems: Understand what business question each analysis answers and what decision it will inform. Push back if the question is flawed.
- Data and insights: Define metrics, build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface data insights that move your team's key metrics.
- Drive outcomes: Bring recommendations to counterparts in product, growth, finance, or operations. Communicate what's happening, why, and what next steps should be.
The role is hands-on, not pure strategy. Your day-to-day involves surfacing analytical insights, driving decisions, and seeing them through end-to-end. The culture emphasizes no slides, no corporate fluff, and no unnecessary meetings—only work that materially changes the business trajectory.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently
- Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact
- Clear, persuasive communicator who can influence decisions at the leadership level
- First principles thinker who breaks ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses before touching data
- Direct communicator who can walk skeptical stakeholders through complex findings and get buy-in
- Owner mentality: act like your name is on the door and take responsibility for fixing broken things
