Jerry is building an AI-powered platform to manage all your physical assets—starting with car insurance and expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, and beyond. The company has reached 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, scaled revenue 70X, and achieved profitability in early 2024. They are now scaling toward 50M customers and a $10B valuation.
The Business Operations & Analytics team is a core strategic function, staffed by former McKinsey, BCG, and Bain consultants who drive data-informed decision-making across product, growth, tech, and operations. Each BizOps team member is embedded within a business unit, acting as both analyst and strategic partner.
As Senior Manager, you will lead the analytical function for one of Jerry's core business areas: Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships. You will own the end-to-end analytical strategy for your domain, including defining the right problems to solve, building metrics and reports, running analyses and experiments, and driving recommendations that move key business outcomes.
Your responsibilities:
- Define the critical business questions and hypotheses before diving into analysis
- Build dashboards, reports, and analyses using SQL, Python, and Metabase
- Design and interpret experiments to inform product and growth decisions
- Communicate complex findings clearly to leadership and influence decisions
- Own execution end-to-end, from insight generation through implementation
- Act as a strategic partner to product, growth, finance, and operations leaders
The role emphasizes first-principles thinking, direct communication, and ownership mentality. There is no corporate bureaucracy—only work that materially moves the business forward. You will work with a lean, high-performing team of 14 analytical professionals who are insatiable learners and problem-solvers.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience at a consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, etc.), investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, or Excel
- Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering measurable impact
- Clear, persuasive communicator who can influence decisions at the leadership level
- First-principles problem-solving mindset
