The BizOps & Analytics team is a force multiplier across the organization, composed of former McKinsey, BCG, and Bain consultants who drive data-informed decision-making across product, growth, tech, and operations. Each business unit has an embedded BizOps team member who doesn't just run analyses and build dashboards, but shapes strategic questions, pulls the right data, draws conclusions, and drives teams toward critical goals.
As Senior Manager, you will lead the analytical function for one of Jerry's core business areas: Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships. You'll sit on the central BizOps & Analytics team (14 people) while being embedded in your assigned business unit.
Key responsibilities:
- Define the right problems: Understand what business question each analysis answers and what decision it will inform. Push back on flawed questions.
- Data and insights: Define metrics, build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface insights that move your team's key metrics.
- Drive outcomes: Bring recommendations to product, growth, finance, or operations counterparts. Communicate what's happening, why, and what next steps should be.
The role is hands-on—not pure strategy. You'll own execution end-to-end, surfacing insights, driving decisions, and seeing them through. The culture emphasizes no slides, no corporate fluff, and no unnecessary meetings. Every person owns a critical domain with no bloat or approval delays.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience at a consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain preferred), investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently
- Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering measurable impact
- Clear, persuasive communicator who can influence decisions at the leadership level
- First principles thinker who breaks ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses before analyzing data
- Comfortable with Excel, SQL, or Python
- Direct communicator who writes clearly and speaks precisely
- Owner mentality: feel responsible for fixing broken things even outside your swim lane
Tools used: SQL (Clickhouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, GitHub.
